Just a heads up, we went up today to check this out, slabs were soaking wet in the morning as was the bush due to rain overnight but we thought we'd check it out anyways when we got to the pullout.

Turns out there is a huge ground wasp nest right on the new trail, about 50m past the second piece of flagging (200m or so from the pavement), just where you get out of the long grass and into the blueberry bushes and trees.

Hi Mike,

My partner and I climbed this last summer (2011) and had a fine time. We rapped back down after 14 pitches (lots of simul-rapping and pulling ropes). The new approach trail was in good shape and made for a pleasant hike. Routefinding was pretty good, a few bolts and/or stations hard to spot, but climbing pretty mellow. Lots of water seeping, despite doing this in mid-August. Grades seem reasonably accurate.

Thanks for putting it up.

Steve

Ale wszystko, co musisz zrobić, to rozpalić ogień, aby pozbyć się gniazd os, prawda?
