Climbing mountains and reading books healthy activity for kids

Childhood obesity has become a major issue in America, and many parents are looking for ways to keep their kids healthy. According to a study conducted by researchers at Yale University, children who play outside (climbing trees or mountains) tend to be more physically fit than those who play indoors (computers, video games). What’s even better is that they also perform better academically! This study shows how important it is for children (and adults) to engage in physical activity on a regular basis. The key is to find activities that interest them—whether it’s reading books outdoors, writing a children's picture book or playing tag with friends. In any case, getting exercise will improve their health and make them happier people overall.
