long shot: lost 'biner

Post by monkeygrp » Sat Aug 07, 2010 10:22 am

I know this is perhaps more work than it's worth for one 'biner, but it was dropped off of Gonch Pull, p. 1, on the upper malamute. It was a black diamond neutrino (wire gate, anodized platinum-ish color) with orange on blue tape.

Every 'biner is sacred. Lemme know, eh? Thanks.

Would you seriously use a 'biner that had been dropped from the top of a pitch? Or are you going to reuse it for kayaking or something?

good question. It dropped right onto the duff beneath the pitch. In this case, yes.

Fair 'nough... Just as long as you're thinking about it...
