Shoes Found - Little Smoke Bluffs (14/6/09)

I found a pair of rock climbing shoes at the Bluffs today. They are size 38.5. If you can identify the colour, make and model, and location they were left, you can have them back. The location was such as to suggest they had been left where I found them, or possibly came off a pack on the descent from the cliff.

Where is Cinderella? Her shoes await, although it's unlikely anyone will mistake me for the handsome prince.

they are 5.10 (2009)....gray/purple...
new....size i think 8?

A light has gone on - my original post didn't vanish, it simply got moved to the "lost and found" section, which I hadn't previously noticed.

The shoes are marked 38.5, a European size - there's no North American size marked on them that I can see. They're not "grey/purple". The location you mention (Magical Child) is at Ronin's Corner, which isn't too far from where I found the shoes. I found them on the morning of June 14th, which seems to be before you lost yours.

Someone sent me a note to say they'd seen a note on the LSB parking lot notice board, which identified the shoes by size and colour, and provided a phone number. I didn't recognize the area code, and somehow deleted the message. If the person can re-send that note, please do. I may be in Squamish on Wednesday afternoon, and will check the bulletin board then if I can - if it isn't raining, that is.

Definitely not the shoes I found, which are La Sportivas, and quite a different colour.

Still hoping the owner will claim them. The shoes were found near the base of the Fern Gully cliff, and are size 38.5. Name the brand, style and colour, or some plausible combination thereof, and you can have them back.
