Looking for a general climbing partner
Or partners!
I'm thinking of moving to Squamish in a couple weeks to a month. I spent a couple years in New Zealand casually climbing and white water kayaking but it's been a year since then and I miss having easy accessibility to both sports. Trouble is, I don't know anyone in Canada with the same interests and I've heard Squamish is a great place to go!
I'm only climbing up to 5.9s right now at a gym so I'm looking for anyone who'd be interested in climbing with someone who's still working on their strength and confidence. I'm hoping to climb daily until school starts back up in September. Just kind of putting some feelers out there before driving across the country.
Edit: I'm interested in learning to trad climb but I don't have much experience with it. I own well maintained rope, harness, and shoes. I've done heaps of lead climbs down on my low grades as well.
