Driving from New Hampshire to Squamish on I-90. Hop in!

Post by bburn » Sat Jul 28, 2012 6:08 pm

Hey I'm headed west on I 90 from New Hampshire. I'm almost to Ohio now. Gas is freaking expensive, so if someone else wants to go to Squamish, hop in so we can split the cost. I'll drive. Plenty of room for one person and gear.
Prefer non-smokers, non-drug users, nonalcoholics, and non-freaks. I mean, you can be and do whatever you want, but just not while in my van, y'know?
Basically looking for a chill climber to cruise across the country with so we can save a couple bucks.
Hit me up on email, I'm checking it while I drive. meggbburn at gmail dot com
Oh, and I have a crag dog. So yeah, you can't be allergic or scared of dogs. She will definitely lick your face.

Okay cool. Thanks!

Update: headed across SD to Rapid City... Picked up a book-on-tape/cd for the first time & am rather enjoying it. It's almost 100 degrees here and I can't wait to cool off in BC.

BBburn you're almost here... . The weather forecast looks great for the next week and much cooler than 100+, with temps in the mid 20 Celsius - yeah metric better get used to it. Thats around 77 F. You shouldn't have much trouble finding partners. You can also post a note in the Chief Campground.

Some Canadian granite is waiting for you on the Grand Wall

Hey bburn:

I enjoyed following your posts as you drove to Squamish. Now that you've been here for a couple of weeks (I think), how do you like it? What are your impressions? Any favorite climbs/problems?

Steve
