Climbing partner wanted July 8-11
Hi folks,
I'm visiting Vancouver for a 2 week workshop July 12-25 and I really want to get some climbing done here before the workshop.
I'm 38 years and been climbing for about 15 of them. I have experience of trad multi pitch routes (not much crackclimbing though). On a good day I lead french 6a+ on bolts and english hvs on trad, but for the Chief or any other multi pitch I should aim for something easier because it's so big. I'm not heading for pushing grades, I just want a few grand days out. It's all about the coffee after anyways
I am googling away here to find the best deal on lodging and transportation, any ideas and recommendations are welcome. Is there like a campground or a hostel where most climbers stay? How do you get from Vancouver to Squamish? Etc. Squamish has been a dream for years and as I only have those 4 days (and Sunday July 19) to climb, any guidance and help is welcome!
And oh yes I have rope and a full rack if needed.
Thanks
