Looking for climbing partners! - June 26-July 4

Post by ChristinaM » Thu Jun 25, 2009 11:37 pm

Hey,
I'm on vacation from Southern Ontario. I'm visiting a friend in Whistler and I'm hoping to get to Squamish everyday if possible! We'll be down at the end of the week, but I'd like to get in some climbing on the days that they're working, as well (Saturday-Wednesday). I'm a little new to leading, but I'm comfortable sport leading 10a's, and can climb up to 12a (haha not well) on TR. Unfortunately, I don't have any gear with me.
I'd love to hear from you if you're looking for a partner as well! btw I am pretty light (120lbs).
cheers!
Christina

Hey Christina, sounds like it's time to push the lead grades for you! 8 grade distance separation between leading and TR is a little much - wait till you see how much more is open to you when you're leading 11a.
Good luck with finding partners - I'll get back to you if my schedule opens up mid-week
