Looking for regular partner for cragging,multi-pitch,alpine
Hi
I am looking for a regular partner (ideally). I recently got laid off from my job and have decided to take the summer off and climb as much as possible.
I have been climbing in Squamish for about 15 years plus regular road trips have taken me to great spots like Smith, Red Rock, J-Tree, Bugaboos etc. So if you are looking for a mature and experienced partner, to get on some multi-pitch and alpine objectives, you have found him.
I currently lead at about the 5.9 level, but willing to follow harder and expect I will move up a few notches once I start climbing regularly. 42 years old, reasonably fit, but not a hard man - my desk job made sure of that But motivated and working on it. Located in Vancouver.
Initially looking for cragging and getting on some of the classic, moderate multi-pitch routes. Then perhaps some longer stuff like Angel Crest or Life on Earth. Would be stoked if this eventually led to getting on some alpine stuff and road trips further afield (e.g. Slesse, Bugaboos, Leavenworth)

Hi Brian
How is your summer off going?
I'm not sure if you're still looking for partners after all this time or if your desired grades have changed.
I'm looking for someone to climb with - love trad but happy on sport too.
Can lead the right 5.9 trad - don't know about sport. Can probably follow 10a's.
Let me know if you want to try climbing.
