Squamish trad climber looking for partners

Post by cosine79 » Wed May 08, 2013 4:05 pm

Hello,

I'm a Squamish local of the last five years and used to climb regularly. I've been out of the game for just over a year and I'm looking to re-start beginning at the end of May (the weekend of the 25-26th is when I'm hoping to start). I'm a safe and reliable trad climber who can lead 5.9 and follow in the low 5.10s (that's where I was when I stopped). I have a 70m alpine rope, a full rack, but not my own vehicle. I live within walking distance of the Smoke Bluffs. I just want to get out on the rocks as much as possible in the beginning to get my climbing legs back under me, so I'd love to climb with any number of partners. I also love sport and TR if that's your thing. If you're interested feel free to send a message to corysine(at)yahoo.ca and we'll set something up. My schedule is pretty open right now, so I can climb weekends and weekdays starting on the 25th of May.

Cheers,

Cory Sine

Hi Cory,
My name is Adrian and I will be passing through the area in late June, I hope to be there around the 26th or so. I have been climbing for about 20 years and am also pretty safe and experienced. Not super strong at the moment but would love to meet you and possibly climb some moderate trad routes.

my email is hurstadrian(at)hotmail

If you are interested let me know. I am driving down from AK so my arrival date is tentative. I plan to be in Squamish until May 29 or so.

Best regards,
Adrian
