Skaha May 11/12 and/or Victoria weekend

I'm going to be Kelowna for a conference the week before Victoria day. I would love to get in some climbing at ska ha while I'm there. I can climb up to 10s and am more than happy to belay on harder routes. Have rope and am slowly accumulating draws (less scary for the bank account to buy in 2s). I've climbed mostly sport - few trips to Kentucky and around Ontario and Alberta/BC. I can follow trad (and am keen to start learning on easier routes). This will be my second time in Skaha and I don't want it to be my second time just wandering around the crags unable to climb...

I could be there May 10 through May 13 or possible 18,19,20.
It's been awhile so I wouldn't be leading 10's but happy to belay those and follow.
Have ropes, gear, and sunglasses (gotta love Penticton weather).

darn I just booked a climbing rescue course on the 11th of May in Canmore and will be spending the 12th driving to Kelowna. If you can make it for the weekend after, the long weekend that would be awesome The conference finished on Thurs, so I could climb Fri onwards. Also I will be full of new rescue climbing knowledge

I admire you for taking a rescue course - it's good to stay fresh on that stuff.
I'm scheduled to be in South Carolina May 15, 16, and fly back that night.
I could be in Penticton by noon on the 17th, then would have the whole weekend (Monday included).

I can keep you posted on the South Carolina thing as sometimes these things get cancelled - then I'd be there for Friday for sure. let me know if you're still interested and will understand if you want to grab someone who can be there full day on the Friday.
