where to buy a 9mm, 65 m static?

Any suggestions? seems any time I've asked around its always just on the rolls, and with my luck never enough. Does anyone know if anywhere local carries these? I just want a good haul line. Thanks.

i've looked around for a tag line....cheapest i could find was Beals Trail line (60m x 8mm) for 109 US (cheaper than off the spool)....you can order it from Black Diamond's Website

George from Climbon may be able about to order it in for you, or Murrey from Valhalla

pffft...forgot to add.....a "better" haul line would be like a 10.5mm or 11mm....the thicker the better....lasts alot longer.......this Beal Trail Line i posted about is more for tagging (solo aid) and zipping (gear from partner)...not so much for hauling (pigs, ledges, etc)

yeah, thanks I saw the beal on the BD site a while ago, just the shipping charges ream ya, $85 for my haulbag, but might just bite the bullet. I agree with the durability but Im also thinking weight, so I'll probably try the thinner cord and see how it works.

mostly for pigs, but a good multi-purpose cord would be nice, somethin' I can jug on occasionally as well.

there are some good deals on static ropes on ebay. Seem to cost about for for shipping and most of them are sold out of europe.

I've seen 100m lines for for 99us out of the Ukraine. From this seller I have contacted canadian purchaser's and there were no duties. Final cost was about 150can all said and done. I have emailed this seller because he hasn't listed any for awhile when I hear back in the next couple of days I'll let you know.

I have a Sterling 10.5 static that is stiff like a cable but inspires the hell out of you when jugging fixed lines way up the wall.

That said I have also used a 70m 9mm line and it was awesome and stood up to the abuse just fine.

Here is something most people don't do that is beyond kick a$% for climbing walls. Buy a really long static line and then you have a tag line and hauline in one. Heavy but it is good for fixing and climbing.
