Conroy Creek aka "Check" volunteer weekend
The Access Society is having a volunteer work weekend at Conroy Creek (Check) next weekend , April 22-23. Saturday we will be picking up a toilet , notice board and picnic table donated by the Ministry of Forests. We will be bringing it to the new parking lot at Conroy and doing priliminary work ( levelling, foundations , etc. ). Both Sat. and Sunday will also be for trail work and deadfall removal. Sunday we hope to actually finish building everything.
M of F will be designating the climbing area around Conroy Creek as an offical recreation area. This will help presereve and establish the area as a protected climbing resource. We will be working in partnership with MoF to maintain and manage the trails and area. Please try to attend and bring tools. Your voice is important , if you are unable to help, come by and become a member of the Access Society
