Advice + parnter wanted

Hi,

I'm uk student (25) looking to travel Canada and possibly US over summer.

Looking to arrange climbing partner for a few solid weeks when I arrive around mid June and Squamish looks like a pretty cool place to start (well hopefully hot and sunny!). Lead trad UK 5a (5.9) - cracks a bit less 4c (5.8 ) - only climbed a year or so so still improving quickly!

Like idea of camping/hosteling whilst in Canada and maybe hire/buy cheap bike to get between climbs.

Any sugguestions where to start or pick up partners?

the backpackers hostel in squamish is a good place to start. in the summer it fills up with climbers, hikers, mountain bikers etc, so it's easy to find a partner. it's walking distance from a lot of the main climbing and bouldering areas, and also close to the grocery and beer stores, and a couple of pubs.
