Does anyone know about the flowers in the main chief parking

Everything and anything to do with climbing in Squamish.

Does anyone know about the flowers in the main chief parking

Was climbing on Sunday early, and noticed flowers :( in the pinic area in front of the chief parking area.
Throughout the day, well on U.Wall, I noticed several parties visiting there,
and upon my return the number of flowers had doubled.

Have me lost a member of our community?? :( :?:

about a month ago or longer, 5 weeks now i think, a hiker had a heart attack and died on the top of the chief,......some of you may remember SAR and Police helicopters flying all over that day

this could be the reason for the flowers
Nothing like the sound of thumpin' a piton first thing in the morning...

ya...that was some bad juju i was feelin' back then...not fear but a kinda out of respect thing...i don't know exactly, but enough to take my head out the game

i was soloing in the bluffs while i watched the helos over head....i ended up aiding over to a flake/horn on some crusty nisglected route not in any guide; bailed and headed back to the truck...i ended up hooking up with brian cox's two brothers and did some climbin with them...two cool dudes
