How some people suck - let me count the ways.....
Now that the rains are upon us, we begin making our wet weather pilgrimages to the Circus Wall at Chek.
Last time I was there (spring wetness) I noticed dozens of Petzl permanent draws on many of the harder climbs left behind after the Roc Trip.
Not bad I thought......nice to leave something behind that (arguably) adds something to the area after monopolizing it for a weekend with (arguably) excessive commercialism.
Returned yesterday to find most of the draws have been pillaged. The worst sight was the first draws to the right of Fleeing Heifer (?Cut to the Chase?) hanging there, slings only, as the biners had been stolen.
I guess Dude didn't have his wrench with him.
Sad.

Yup. They (the losers) started with Youngblood. With that route... they took the biner and sling.
So if you see anyone with draws that have the petzl logo with large lettering on it they are more than likely the culprit. For those slings are reserved for sponsered petzl climbers and equiping routes for events like the RocTrip.
Either way.... this world has gone to hell and a hand-basket. I'm actually surprised that there aren't more people taking matters into their own hands.

I would expect that if you're going to be a low-life pirate and steal gear, at least don't screw up the climb for others by leaving the bolts occupied by unusable slings -- I expect some losers to go low....but this was lower than I expected possible. Sick. There's probably not a station low enough for that much bad karma to deposit you for the next life.
Samsara forever (not a bad name for a climb, actually......)
