Hi, I am looking for opinion on an access issue that has just become public in Squamish. The district is close to signing a lease with a company Kristall Turm to install a "ropes course/ aerial adventure" tower in the adventure centre parking lot. If it goes ahead, approximately half that lot will be lost directly, and, if it is popular, users of the thing will obviously be competing for the rest of the space. One obvious issue is that this may increase pressure on the Bluffs parking lot nearby, which is already under pressure in summer. Another issue for some climbers may be the loss of the parking option in the adventure centre lot itself. So ... a question - mainly for people who visit Squamish from Vancouver and further away - do you often use the adventure centre parking lot, for example for carpooling if you meet people in Squamish then drive in a single vehicle somewhere else (Chek, back to the Chief, etc)?
