Area 44 Parking Closed Permanently

The Ministry of Transportation has just installed tow away zone signs in the common parking area for Area 44, ie across the highway. They are concerned about people crossing the highway in the 100km zone. If you park across the highway you could be towed! From now on it's suggested that you park in the lookout parking which is on the same side of the highway as the crag.

I was there when they were installing them -- they've installed them right at the corner of 99 and the turn-off. If you go about 100m further up the side road, there's a larger pull-off that stills seems to be fine for parking.
