Current Conditions at Chek

Post by gmcg » Fri Apr 11, 2014 8:15 am

Has anyone been up to Chek (Circus, Big Show, Sport Temple) recently? If so, can you comment on how dry it was?

If not, does anyone have any speculation or thoughts on how dry it may be?

Thanks :)

Hi everyone!

I was up at StarChek two weekends ago when it was puking on Saturday; I've been following the weather and Friday (April 18th) looks like a solid dry spell window. Does anyone have any experience with the length it takes for StarChek to dry? The weather forecasts rain to cease around 4am and stay dry for the remainder of the day. I've climbed StarChek in great conditions before and it's well within my comfort zone, but if that final slabby pitch is absolutely wet it could pose a problem. We were thinking of going fairly late in the day (around 4 or 5) to give it amble time to dry. What do you all think?
