Climb for Philippines Bouldering Comp. Sun 6pm @ Hive

To our amazing climbing community: It's time for us to boldly show some love and support for the people in the Philippines who are suffering from that terrible Typhoon Haiyan.

This bouldering competition is open to all levels including beginners.

6 Categories for both MENS & WOMENS:
1-hex
2-hex
3-hex
4-hex
5-hex
6-hex

The more problems you complete in your category, the more points you get.

Example: Natalie competes in 1-hex womens category and climbs the most no. of problems, she'll win a prize.

Prizes for first place in each category and best dressed male, female and team!

Please donate directly to this and tell us the amount so we can tally up the total donations.

*Canadian government will match every dollar donated by Canadians between Nov. 9 and Dec. 8. In order to qualify for the matching program, the donation must be made to registered Canadian charities and specifically earmarked for typhoon relief.

*Gym admission applies to all.

*We will set up 2 laptops at the Hive so you can donate at the event too.

Thank you everybody for the support! Fun times and we have raised a total of $1105 in 3 hours (with the Canadian Govt. matching, it will come to $2210). Way to show our Climbers' Power and Love! Special thanks to the Hive for their continual support for all our VRCG projects and climbers/volunteers who set up this event!
