Rock On Dry?

Post by NateDoggOG » Sun Sep 01, 2013 6:49 am

I've only ever climbed Rock On once during the dry period last summer, and was wondering if it would dry out pretty quick after the recent rains? Or is there going to be a lot of runoff and seepage there? I'm just not sure if it needs an entire winters worth of water to stay wet. Looking to possibly go up it tomorrow. Same question for Ultimate Everything.

I'm pretty sure Ultimate Everything would be fine. I've climbed it in the Spring and much wetter than now and it was 'damp' in spots but no big deal. Rock On however, hmm, I'd like to know about that too.

It rained quite hard. If it stays dry for 2 - 3 days I'll bet it would be dry except for the 10a bulge at the top, this makes it somewhat harder, but not outrageous. A week of sunny dry weather and it will be dry.

As a general reference, the second pitch of U-Wall and the Golden Throat Charmer were both very wet yesterday, Milk Run looked wet as wall... and it rained this morning.
