Rappel ropes left on Yosemite Pinnacle?

Rappel ropes left on Yosemite Pinnacle?

Whats the deal? Two ropes tied together, a blue and a red one, are hung up on a tree and some stumps between the leftt side and right side of Yosemite Pinnacle. Looks like a rappel gone bad maybe? They have been there for a while. Booty? Garbage?
