Bouldering in May June?

Hi,
I live in Aus and i will be doing a ski season over in Whistler until late April, early May.
I was wondering if afterwards (May / June) the weather is good for bouldering? As i would like to spend a couple weeks hanging around and bouldering! Also is it possible to rent pads anywhere or buy cheap 2nd hand ones?

The rock you guys have looks amazing!!

You can generally boulder all winter as long as it isn't raining. Locals climb year round. It starts to get regular dry periods from March onwards.
