Rock Climbing Meetup @ Smoke Bluffs *open to all*
Hi all,
I am running a rock climbing meetup at the Smoke Bluffs on June 15th open to everyone, beginners included (although you must know how to toprope belay)
Meetups are a great way to meet other climbers and find partners for the summer. Also a fantastic way to get some climbing in on a beautiful weekend.
I run the Vancouver Adventure Rock Climbing meetup group. You can sign up and join free here:

All meetups are 100% free, membership is 100% free, and its hella good times for all.

Be aware that it'll be a bit crazy in the bluffs on the 15th as the Test of Metal race runs right through there. It's right at the end of the race, so there will be about 1000 riders spread over five hours charging through the main trail from Northridge Dr. to the Bluffs parking lot. Parking will be partially restricted that day too.

As well, Penny Lane area is closed for a week or so. BC hydro is chopping the hell out of the trees up there and mentioned the possibility of some blasting. They said it wouldnt be open again until someone assessed that the anchors were still sound on the surrounding routes. Very limited signage about this.
