Online advertising is a bit of a gamble but I’m hoping contributors and readers here will welcome and appreciate local businesses and entrepreneurs stepping in to support a community resource which squamishclimbing.com aims to be.

I would much rather offer the ad space to climbers and people working in the industry than give it to Google adwords. I think building a community requires the participation and exchange of ideas from everybody which includes local businesses and services. And I believe climbers want to support them when they can.
