Alex Honnold free solos Northern Lights -- wow
I haven't found any official confirmation online but there's already been a bit of buzz about in Squamish (wish I was there now) that Alex has solo'd Northern Lights 5.12a, 12 pitches.
On his FB page Alex says he's loving Squamish, "there's so much to do, it's hard to take rest days" I would say Alex has almost done it all and it's alright to take a rest day.

So can anybody here add some details or want to comment?Over all the Northern Lights is a bit harder than Astroman and a little easier than the University Wall and by my reckoning, one of the most impressive free solos yet done anywhere, much less in this neck of the woods.
Hats off dude, hope it felt solid.

Only comment I have is "Wow!"... No "official confirmation" but, I wouldn't be at all surprised. Alex seems to be killing it everywhere he goes.
