Sonnie Trotter profiled in Toronto Star

Post by squamish climber » Wed Aug 03, 2011 1:05 pm

There's a good profile of Squamish climber Sonnie Trotter in the August 1st edition of the Toronto Star.
The paper bills him as: Toronto's most famous athlete you've probably never heard of

Of course in these parts Sonnie is well known for his FA of Cobra Crack, his other bold ascents and his being an all round nice guy.

Sonnie has some great words of wisdom for a guy who still has a long life ahead of him. I try to keep his philosophy in mind as I plow ahead through my daily life.
Do what you love. Love what you do. Take less. Give more. Never quit. Never follow. Be passionate. Be bold. Be honest. Respect people. Respect the environment. Always bring out the best in your family and friends. Change is the only constant. Fear is an illusion. Attitude is everything.

Congrats Sonnie on the article and on getting married

Awesome, congrats Sonnie.
Gotta get my dad to grab me a copy of that paper.
