Why doesn't Squamish, The Outdoor Recreation Capital Of Canada, have a campsite that is worthy enough to support the people visiting.
When I go by the Chief campsite, I think: "Slumville." Points that strike me;
No "proper" facilities. All thats there is bascially 2 holes in the ground. Sucks to be in the sites that are downwind from the Jons.
No showers. Wha-dup wit dat?!
Ill maintained road within the campsite. At least put down some hard packed gravel.
If the developers of the Gondola incorporate a "Gucci" campsite into their plans, then I say "Go Gondola!"
