Pemberton Climbing

Post by raw » Sun Apr 11, 2010 9:12 pm

Does anyone have any information about the bluffs above the boulders (not suicide) in Pemberton? There are a number of bolts and chained anchors on the bluffs, but I cannot seem to find any route info.

Thx

I think you are talking about the Green River Bastion, which i believe is just off the highway, behind the forest bouldering. It is in the Whistler Rockclimbs guide book.

bring a brush & wear a helmet, this cliff does not see much traffic but has some good climbs for sure

Check out robin barleys topos for the sport climbs on the left side of the wall here (under GREEN RIVER BASTION TOPO):

-climbed pemberton corner this spring, climbable, but it needs a bunch of leaves and stuff cleaned out of the crack. I was thinking of adding an anchor to it next time i go there, the tree should be left alone.
