A question about top roping in Squamish

Post by nomad » Sat Mar 13, 2010 10:09 pm

Hey there. I am planning on coming to Squamish for a couple of days. I am not sure I am in a good enough shape to sport lead. I am looking for a nice spot to top rope, with a bunch of 5.7-5.10, so that I can spend an entire day in one place without driving around. Is there any spot with 4-6 routs in that difficulty range? And if there is, is it also bolted? just in case I decide to give it a try. thnx

Get yourself a guidebook brah - or ask Bradley to give you a tour of his favorite top ropes in the Bluffs. He frequents Burgers & Fries, which happens to be a good place to start if you like bolts.

it seems that cloudrakers life is so boring that he has to expend alot of energy vainly exploring mine. Though im honored that you think of me so often its kinda weirding me out. So get out find some friends.

Hi Nomad,
Sorry for the juvenile responses you getting. This sort of riffraff is not representative of Squamish as a whole, but tends to linger on this site.
I'm not sure about a sport crag with a good collection of routes in this range. But for crack climbing (trad), try Neat and Cool or Burgers and Fries at the Smoke Bluffs. Or the Sugarloaf at Murrin Park.

have fun.
