New to squamish...

Post by zacsands » Tue Jul 14, 2009 6:55 pm

Ive travelled to the northwest US from kentucky and want to climb in squamish with my GF before we head back west..... have a guidebook but im just wondering what the beta is for some sport climbing... trad craggin(single pitch) and some easy multi-pitch climbing. Just wondering bout what the really good stuff is as we will only have 4-5 days. Any info at all is greatly appreciated...
Thanks!!

This gets asked fairly often. The guidebooks available are actually very accurate with their quality ratings. Single pitch trad, lots in the smoke bluffs, murring park and base of the grand. Multi pitch, the squaw, base of the grand and apron. Sport, chek, rogues, murrin park, sanctuary, (fern hill and cat lake, chuk chuk, not in the guides but topos on this site........
