Hey Dru,

I've been meaning to check out the Valley for a while now. I've wanted to head out there and look for some new rock to develop as well. I'm getting bored with Squish.

Any chance I could get a tour or you can hook me up with some locals or something. Unless of course you're trying to keep it all to yourselves. lol.

Thanks
Axel

I'd love to but I'll be in the alpine for 10 days.

If you head to Elbow Lake, Harrison Bluffs, or Hatzic Rock though, it's likely you will find some locals climbing to hook up with.

No Barge. I just spoke with Valhalla Pure up in Sqaumish. There is a water taxi from Horseshoe Bay to Squamish. The cost is anywhere from 50-80 dollars one way....call 604-898-3733

Fly!

i'm a pilot for Glacier Air, i flew 7 times to Vancouver from the Squamish Airport yesterday and i'm already at 5 trips so far today....

it costs $125 per person, and we pick people up in Vancouver and bring them here too.

it's a 25 min flight.
weather looks good for the weekend, don't let the Sea-to-Sky ruin your climbing plans!

we fly into/out-of the South Terminal.... "MillionAir" is the name of where we go.

Call the office: Glacier Air 604-898-9016

gotta go fly... Cheers

Have you been able to fly in the low cloud that's developed this afternoon? What kind of conditions ground you?

$125 each way. you can try to walk an old trail from Portou Cove to Furry Creek, it's 20 min hike and goes AROUND the rock-slide.... don't know where you'd park and you'd need a ride on the "other side".

we are still flying... flying all day. weather is ok... rain is fine, just can't go through cloud. vis is down to about 10 miles now.... still ok.
