Traffic this weekend - Pemberton Festival

How bad is the drive to Squamish really going to be this weekend? I understand the Pemberton Festival is on this weekend causing traffic jams from Pemberton to Horseshoe Bay. I was hoping to head up Sat but don't feel like sitting in traffic for hours. Let me know how you find the drive.

I'm heading up to chek earlier on Sat I think the push would have been Thursday and Friday. most of the headliners are on Sunday night so expect monday to be bad traffic wise...

The big slow down is at Whistler. Heard on the radio at about 2 that the huuuuuuuge line started just before function, and it was taking 2.5 hours to get from Whis to Pemby.

Whatever the case might be, never leave Squamish before 8 pm, we did that yesterday and no traffic at all.

I usually try to leave after 9 pm, I'm here since Jan. and I haven't got stuck in traffic yet.
