You named your route "Ashlee I Love You" and now that she's history and you're dating a chick named LaTawnya, you think you'd better change it?

?????? Freakin' need instructions to understand what people are trying to say on here. Extra hard when people answer a question with a question.

I think that counts as him making a joke and probably not having a hard and fast opinion on the issue.
I'd say go for it. But thats just me, and I tried to write up a sit start to Penny Lane as "Megalomania" 5.9+ in the new route book.

It's like getting a tattoo. 2 years later, it's too late to change your mind. You're stuck with that dumb old name.

By that rule, he should only be allowed to change it to something larger and bolder that still incorporates or obscures the old name.

You can call a route whatever you want. In fact, you can even choose not give it a name, if you so desire. But it doesn't really matter. People are going to either like climbing the route or not. So who cares what you name/not name the route, just make it a good route for everyone to enjoy. Because isn't that the whole point?!!?
