Despite the cold, would Vantage be in condition to climb in January?

Don't give in to the desperation of bad BC weather. Vantage is NOT worth the gas and hassle it takes to get down there - even if you do have good weather, never mind the shitty cold you will no doubt find now. Take the chossiest cliff in squamish, and put it in the middle of a frozen nowhere, choss it up some more, and you get vantage.

You have better luck with Horne Lake or maybe Little Si in washington if you want to go for a few hour drive.
