Thanks to MEC for providing us with a meeting room, and to various donors for prizes. If you have any business or issues you want discussed, whether or not you can attend, please contact Jeff Thomson or Peter Winter.
DIRECTORS & NOMINATIONS: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!We are actively recruiting new directors for 2007 - 08 and beyond, as several directors are retiring. Directors must be members of the Access Society and support its goals. There are two or three in-person meetings each year, and two or three telephone meetings. Directors also have organizational and advocacy responsibilities. We plan an enhanced role for directors, building on the Access Society's many successes and strengths and looking ahead, and welcome new volunteers. If you want to be nominated, or might be interested, contact Jeff Thomson at (604) 224-5428 or jthomson(at)gymcan.org or Peter Winter at (604) 892-3201 or peterwinter1(at)gmail.com. Especially if you can't make the AGM. Or come to the meeting, and find out more!
