Looking for a place to crash

Post by thestidham » Thu Aug 16, 2007 10:07 am

Me and my climbing partner are coming up to squamish to climb friday (24th) throught wed (29th). we would probably be fine camping at the walk in sites at the park but if we could find a back yard to crash in or something that would be cool to cause we're both broke college students. so if anyone is ok with letting some fellow climbers camp out let me know. if your interested then let me know and we can talk further. cheers!

Sean,

It's not hard to find places to camp for free around Squamish... I think there was a thread earlier this summer about free camping in the area and people had some good suggestions. Try searching for it....otherwise good luck and bring a tarp.

Uh Seah... What 'college' do you go to? My neighbor's son (who's 9) has better sentence structure/ grammar!

ok, all jokes aside...

Sean, if you're looking for free camping, try checking out the Squamish Valley Rd area a few kms up Hwy 99 (north of squamish). there's lots of camping by the river in that area?
is it patrolled by conservation officers? i'm not sure. and for years, i have had no issues...
good luck

b.
