Just want to get a thread going here.

What are the top 3 things one needs to know about climbing in Squamish? (Can be comical or serious, I don't care.)

1. Rain = No Climbing, Squamish = Lots of rain, therefore Squamish = Lots of No climbing.

2. Great trad/aid climbing, lots of bouldering, so-so sport climbing.

3. Expect to spend 6 hrs waiting to do Diedra on the weekend.

4. lots of remote craigs = no crowds

4. The granite WILL do a number on your hands so bring tape.

tape? the granite's not nearly as crystallized/ rough as many other areas... you'll be fine w/out tape!
