Easy bouldering & sport climbing (or toproping)?
Some friends and I were thinking about heading up to Squamish this Friday and Saturday, but only two of us have been up there and our trip was short so we don't have a good idea of what all the climbing is like. We're currently trying to decide between Leavenworth and Squamish, and we're limited by the grades a bit as well as gear (we only have 1 regular pad and 1 mini-pad, but plenty of ropes).
We're looking for easy problems and routes between V0-V3 and 5.8-5.11. I've been told that the best place to go sport climbing in Squamish is at Chek--it seems like there's a ton of good routes there. How does the sport climbing there compare to North Bend/Leavenworth/Vantage? How crowded would Chek be this weekend (probably really crowded)?
Is there a lot of bouldering in the V0-V3 range? Is all the bouldering in Squamish at the base of the Chief, or is there more elsewhere?
Lastly, is there decent camping anywhere besides the Chief? I've only ever camped at some random place about 20-30 min up the road, and that was out of desperation (it sucked, we slept right next to 99).

the answer depends on what you're comparing it to. i don't think squamish has as many problems as say bishop or hueco in that range, but there are definitely enough problems to climb on. if you're only gonna be up here for 2 days, the amount of problems squamish has to offer you will definitely not be an issue. check out heartbreak hotel, titanic, crackhead, bojo jones... they should all be ok with the pads you've got.

the best bouldering is at the base of the chief. if you only have one or two days, i wouldn't recommend going elsewhere
