I have never climbed their but know of people putting up stuff in the area since this guide was written.

In Central BC Rock by Lyle Knight

Vernon section is included in this guide and talks of 2 areas Ellison Provincial Park, and Cougar Canyon. In the cougar canyon area their is tlak of undeveloped potential so this may be the logical area for new routes.

Maybe this will get you started. Sounds like the rock is 2star quality and and varies from granodiortie to gneiss.

Went climbing in Cougar last year there is a shitload of new routes done but it's all sort of word of mouth, no guidebook. I had a local along to feed me grades and beta thankfully. Maybe check rockclimbing.com?
