I drove it night before last, it took 6 hours from Chehalis to Pemberton, in a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Some parts were barely passable.

only because we got it at 4 am as we were frozen in the back of the jeep with only business clothes to warm us and couldn't sleep)

sorry bud, didn't know living in squamish and working in van so that I could afford to sell my toyota camry and buy my first 4x4 made me a city slicker.... and yes, I usually have extra goodies in the back for off road adventures, but the jeep was cleaned out because I went to a wedding the Saturday prior to the slide, and lent my sleeping bags to a buddy whose parents were in town from PG doing their first hike.
