Tree trimming @ Forgotten Wall

Post by Yoyo » Mon Jun 21, 2004 2:27 pm

Good grief I hope they don't trim too much! On a hot day the shade from the trees is one of the best features of that wall. Guess this is the downside of a "collectively managed" area like Cheak-- if someone feels like it they could just cut ALL the trees down sometime.

Yep, I work in the film industy and I've seen it before. If there's too many trees in the shot, down they come. Especially in an area like Chek where its (for the most part) out of the public eye.
Its easier to beg forgiveness that to seek permission.

It seems they've also kicked a bunch of moss and dirt off the top of the wall. It's all around the base of the wall and some climbs on the far left are covered in it. Ie Rock Lobster.

the dude with the megaphone (that's the symbol of power isn't it?) said they would be filming at Forgotten Wall today, and then filming at Shoot to Kill on Wednesday.
