Room to sublet
Room to sublet
Hi Everyone,
I'm taking off to India for some climbing and would like to find someone to sublet my room for the months of September and October.
It's a great appartment. Top floor with views of the North Shore. Two great roomates (one who loves to climb) Commercial and Graveley St. The room is fully furnished and internet and cable are available.
We can discuss price and such. Email me at rockgirl11@hotmail.com.
Cheers all you rock pullers,
Sarah

Hi,
Ya, I did the manditory post surgery physio and worked really hard to get my strength and mobility back asap and the work payed off. Actually I started climbing a month post sugery, but was very careful...no long descents and no torquing the knee!
I injured myself in March of this year and was in surgery in April! Through friends I was able to see a surgeon in Richmond almost right away! I'm travelling to India on a climbing trip in September though so I think my surgeon sensed my anxiety to be back on track for training and I was in emergency surgery five days after seeing him!
Very fortunate. As far as what I injured...I had two small fractures on my tibial plateau, partial tear of my ACL and an odd (according to the Dr. very odd) abraison on my upper knee cap (sorry for the lack of medical terminology)
I'm right back into climbing now and have attempted another ski trip and been hiking down the chief, Squaw and Shannon Falls climbing trails no problem!
Good luck, the healing time is not long! Just be diligent in maintaining mobility in the knee.
Sarah

Thanks Sarah.
I injured my knee end of march too. Getting suregery in July but I had to wait for other injuries to heal up. Will have a complete ACL replacement nad other work. Actually dislocated my knee (which is quite hard to do apparently).
Sounds like the key is excercising the knee - got that covered.
Hoping to be back climbing by fall - maybe a fall trip to the valley! Good luck in your travels...
