I'll get on it this spring if you haven't done it yet. I only really want to climb stuff in a day tho, no bivies.

in a day sounds good. I haven't always succeeded in day ascents in squamish, but rather go light then haul the pigs anyday.

what about the gear rack suggestion in the mclane guide for UNDERTHEGUN.

Seems like a really small rack. Lots of bolts between the gear or just scarry hooking????

I have heard that Cobra Corner is one of the hardest pitches in Squamish, obviously this is not felt by everyone. Anyone with experience want to comment.

I also read a resume of Alex Lowe one time and he referenced Up from the Skies as A5, old school is my thought but maybe some conversation can come out of this. :?: :idea: :twisted: :wink:

well......my apprenticeship training is starting WAY sooner than i'd like so money is gonna be tighter than a 12 year old boy before the priest gets him....(bcit in 3 months!!!!!!!!)

f**k, well rounded rack for this season...100% have the gear for pretty much any alpine and trad route...have to partner up for some aid,, but big enough i can start doing some longer routes (may solo a 2 pitch route soon)

....i'll prob be makin a lot less cash in 4 months....and prob be that way for a while...so...ya...but its a good thing i got in early for my program......startin wage is 30ish once i'm qualified :P plus my welding ticket and first aid ticket :P
