Kids and Beginners Bouldering
Hi there,
I plan to go to Vancouver for summer vacation with my kids (4 and late August this year. We don't have rock climbing experience (unfortunately there's not much climbable rock where we live) but climb for a few years in the gym now.
However as I don't know if we'll make it to Canada again somewhen, I want to use the opportunity to go to Squamish one day for a small climbing trip.
Here's the question:
Where should we go with almost no outdoor experience and two little kids, so everybody can play around on the rock a bit?
I read here (http://squamishadventure.com/best-squamish-rock-climbs/), that The Cleans (I suppose this is the same as The Clean Boulders https://www.mountainproject.com/v/the-c ... /108506342) are a good spot, as the landing place is more comfortable and the routes are on the easier side.
Plus the other North Wall Boulders are not too far away. So atm I'd head there.
Do you have any advise on this area or another even better area to suggest for one day of climbing?
Cheers and thanks
Robert

Re: Kids and Beginners Bouldering
There's lots of good stuff in the Smoke Bluffs for roped climbing... not too sure about bouldering, I don't play that game.
You can message me if you're here on a weekend, I'd be happy to take you out on a tour with our family.
