Anyone know if you can rap from the top of the pitch 5? I'd like to try the 11b but concerned I will get shut down on it. Conversely, does anyone know if the bolts are close enough on the 11b slab to be aided?

Its a one move wonder right off the belay, its probably harder to do the move without pulling on the bolt as its right in your face. I found it easier than the crux pitch of dancing in the light. There is still some mid 5.10 climbing after the crux bulge. I have only approached via edge hog and you pretty much need two ropes to rap off at any point if you go that way, which I highly recommend by the way.

Getting from Snake to the first pitch of edge hog or dancing from below snake is more work than you think, I have tried all the routes and they all have their difficulties, potentially you could go from that old tree belay on snake to the ledge below edge hog though.
