Hi folks -
I found the following on MP. Does anyone know if any of the closed climbs have opened early? I am wondering about Freeway but I am sure others might be looking for similar info. If anyone has a live source for this information (e.g. a page on the BC Park site that I am unable to find) that would be super helpful.

From the BC Parks site:

Closed Climbs: Millennium Falcon, Sports Illustrated, Cloud Burst, Sea of Tranquility, Getting Down on the Brown, Supernaut, Clean Corner, Negro Lesbian, Crap Crags, Slow Dyke, Illusion, Planet Caravan, Warriors Wasteland, Freeway (above 5th pitch), The Big Slick, Brothers in Arms, Western Dihedral (4th pitch and above).

Open Climbs: Arrow Root, Cleaning the Brain, Deadend Dihedral, Rutabaga, Sticky Fingers, Slow Duck, Time Passages, Freeway (to the top of 5th pitch) and Western Dihedral (to the top of the 3rd pitch)."

Thanks smallman, trying to figure out which post you are talking about. Can you specify the name the post please?

I see "Falcon Closures - Angels Crest" but that doesn't cover it. Am I missing something?

That is the only closure so far.Well also the routes above angels crest accessed from Borderline (Highplains Drifter Area) . Usually only one nesting pair is present on the Chief. Over the last few years the falcons have been moving their nest sites around quite a bit and since we have an actual observation based closure versus the blanket closures seen in the US (ie. Trout Creek) the routes closed change yearly. The Angels Crest closure should be lifted when the fledglings leave the nest which will likely be by July 31st.
