Dry Sport Routes near Whistler?

Post by Robbo99 » Tue Jan 27, 2015 11:27 am

Looking for some help on this as I have little knowledge of the area. Friend of mine and I are looking to climb some sport whilst we're waiting for the warm weather to pass so we can get back on the powder boards....

We climb French 6b-7a in the uk. Any suggestions on both nearby crags and links to topo would be massively appreciated.

Thanks

If you want to climb in Whistler, check out Nordic Rock. Snooze You Lose is a great sport route (maybe around the grade you're looking for) on the main wall

I haven't climbed there for quite awhile, but I always had fun there..

Escape Route will probably lend or sell you a guidebook to get more specifics.

Or you can drive a half hour south to Chek.. Multiple sport crags, some of them might even be dry.

Pet Wall at Murrin Park is south facing and dries pretty quickly.
