Where are people climbing this weekend?

Just in time the weather is looking good. Could be a busy weekend, Canada Day and July 4 - A lot of rock out there to escape the crowds.

I'm climbing Prusik Peak this weekend. First time in the Enchantments, so pretty stoked. And one less climber in Squamish for you all.

I'm planning to practice aid climbing on Diedre. I need to get my slab hauling techniques dialed.

I'm heading over to the Harrison Bluffs for the first time. Does anyone know where I can find topos? I'm terrible at judging route difficulty from the ground :(

I'm climbing at the Hive Fri and Sat since it's raining.

Thinking of checking out Valley of Shaddhai, Solarium and/or Lower Malemute.

If it stops raining.

Ya you email the guy who is aid climbing diedre, ask about nicolumn knob as well, but its going to be hot up that way this weekend.

He lives out that way and does sporadic cleaning and climbing

This is alpine weather!! If folks are looking for something reasonable, I would suggest the Old Settler, day trip any of the phenomenal routes there then spend the rest of the afternoon swimming in the lake at the base, or lug your camp up and do two. The routes on the red rock are quite awesome.

I did in my back on Thurs, so I'll be climbing on and off the couch this weekend. Maybe be able to get to Squamish on Tue when y'all are back to work.

Harrison Bluffs info:

http://www.mountainproject.com/v/harris ... /105994963

You can buy the old guidebook written by Alex Howden that includes descriptions for routes on Falcon Crest and the East Wall at Mt Waddington Outdoors in Chilliwack. But beware because Alex uses two number grades, 10a and 10a+ to cover the range of grades from 5.10a to 5.12b. The grades on the MP website are a little more accurate although there's still some spread.

West Ridge...was tons of fun, but a long slog in and out for this flabby, office-softened weekend warrior. Camping at Colchuck Lake was beautiful too.

These look great...I was just looking for these in Alpine Select (McLane). What routes are they?

Those are on Black September, a 10a/b between Duck a L"orange and Contact Zone that isn't in Alpine Select.

Mars Western is one of my favourites, and my friends said Contact Zone was awesome

This weekend I am planning to take one week holiday from my towing company. I love 5.8. Which route is the best in Squamish?
