General Squamish Trip Info

Yo,

I plan on taking about a month long trip to Squamish, however, I have never been and only know a handful of people who have been. So, I just had a few questions. When would be the best month to climb? I've been told that August is probably the month I want to shoot for, is that a good idea? I was also curious as to what areas I want to check out/avoid if I'm primarily interested in bouldering, meeting chill climbers and free camping. Thanks and peace.
